![]() ![]() Switch on your camera and set your sound recording to Manual. Now click on the Playback tab and find the Yeti in the list, select it and click Set Default. The USB connector is on the left and the 3.5mm headphone socket is on the right Make sure the jack is fully inserted so the connection is properly made. Plug one end of the audio cable into the 3.5mm TRS socket on the base of the Yeti. With the PC and Yeti connected you can move on to the next step. If it has a noisy cooling fan you may need a longer USB cable so you can move it away from the Yeti to prevent the noise being picked up. ![]() So, if you haven’t done so already, connect the Blue Yeti to your computer. Without it, no audio will be sent to the headphone socket on the base of the Yeti. ![]() The reality is that the computer also provides software support for the Yeti. If that were the case, you could plug the Yeti in to an adapter or power bank.
